At JahaTakSafar, slow travel extends to how we treat your data. We collect only what is strictly required to organize, permit, and safeguard your journey across Northeast India.

We do not operate intrusive tracking cookies, third-party pixel aggregators, or behavioral advertising networks. We only collect:
- Direct Contact Data: Name, WhatsApp number, and email address when you initiate an inquiry.
- Expedition Specifications: Party size, preferred departure dates, and dietary or physical considerations.
- Government Permit Documents: Government photo ID or Inner Line Permit (ILP / PAP) documents strictly when required by the State Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, or forest reserves.
- Payment Reconciliation Reference: 12-digit UPI UTR numbers or bank transaction reference codes used solely to verify bank receipts.
2. How Your Data Is Used
Your details are utilized exclusively to:
- Process verified expedition reservations and issue official travel vouchers.
- Coordinate logistics with our certified indigenous naturalist guides and mountain vehicle drivers.
- Submit mandatory district administration and forest entry permits.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to marketing third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
Our application runs on Cloudflare’s global edge infrastructure with HTTPS encryption enforced sitewide. Permit identification documents are encrypted, stored strictly during the operational lifecycle of your trip, and permanently purged upon trip completion unless legally required by state authorities.
4. Cookies & Browser Storage
We do not use advertising or surveillance cookies. Our website uses local browser storage exclusively to remember your selected travel preferences and cached expedition details for faster loading.
